A CHARITY auction for the Children?s Society is being organised by a West Devon woman ahead of a half-marathon walk in New York in the autumn. Linda Harris is holding the auction to enable her to take part in the charity event, pounding the sidewalk in the Big Apple in November to raise funds for the Children?s Society, Among the lots are a game of golf for two, a meal for two, a wash, cut and blow-dry and a coffee maker. The auction is being held at the Crossways Inn at Folly Gate and gets underway at 8pm next Friday, September 15.
