RESULTS for February 17: Groovy Chicks 11, Jesters 27; Helz Angels 4, Breezers 48; Shooting Starz 22, 7 UP 23; Speedwells 36, Sprites 30; Tornadoes 22, Spitfires 41; Hatherleigh II 41, Cheriton Flyers 33.

Results for February 24: Speedwells played Magpies in a close and friendly match. Magpies led from the start due to excellent shooting from Sarah Pascoe. Good netball came from both teams and the game was played in a fair and sporting manner.

Final score: Speedwells 37, Magpies 46. Players of match: Beth Stephens for Speedwells, Sarah Pascoe for Magpies.

In division 2 Groovy Chicks played EIG. The young team of Groovy Chicks started well against the more experienced division leaders EIG and were leading 3-0, but EIG rallied and played excellent netball. Groovy Chicks battled well and did not lose their spirit with the final score not really reflecting their true performance.
