MEMBERS of Okehampton Golf Club enjoyed a dry, enjoyable day on Saturday. A maximum field took to the fairways for a three ball two to count stableford.

Competition was keen but the team of Rodney Wright, Trevor Parker and Alan Jones came out clear winners of division 1 with a wonderful round, scoring a magnificent 88 points. Second with 80 points were Bob Davies, Nick Heath and Kevin Rice. Third with 78 points were Evan Rees, John Leonard and Martin O'Connor on countback from Graham Moysey, Colin Sturgess and Del Owen.

Division 2 was very close with the winners decided on countback. First were Arney and Will Searle with Malcolm Hooper. Second with the same score of 81 points were Robin Webb, Graham Starkey and Andy Parry. Third with 79 points were Harry Butters, Denis Jenkins and Ray Stevens and fourth were John Flavin, Neil Penfold and Kevin Harding.
