LAST Wednesday, August 8, I was in Simmons Park, Okehampton. Just inside the main entrance to the park there were young children playing on their scooters, enjoying themselves, and elderly people walking around.
All of a sudden, some idiot on a motorcycle came in through the main gate, racing his bike towards the Bowling Green, turned around and raced back down towards the entrance. He did this about half a dozen times, with no concern for the children or the elderly.
I don't know what has happened to authority in this county — doesn't anyone care any more?
I would like someone to put a stop to this, please. I have three grandchildren of my own.
