A TAVISTOCK managing director joined ten other company representatives at a special parliamentary group dinner yesterday (Wednesday) in the House of Commons for winners of the millennium products award.
Peter Jones of Pegasus Pushchairs Ltd, based on the Westbridge Industrial Estate, took a sample of his firm's award-winning pushchair when he travelled to London.
His company got the award through the Design Council 18 months ago in the first tranche given to companies throughout the UK.
MP for West Devon and Torridge, John Burnett, also attended the dinner in the Club Room.
