Winsford Lunch Club members were treated to an excellent Christmas lunch prepared by cook Lyn Pedrick and staff and volunteers of the centre.

Chairman Ian Sanders expressed thanks to all the ladies for their efforts, which were much appreciated by members. Each also received a basket filled with a selection of small presents and there was the draw of the Christmas raffle — the first prize, a large box of Thorntons chocolates, was won by Edda Hanington.

Cllr Barry Parsons, who is a trustee, joined members for lunch and then led them in singing some Christmas songs.
