A MAN was killed in a fatal collision between a lorry and a van on the slip road to Gunnislake from Gulworthy Cross yesterday (Wednesday).
The man had been at the wheel of a Somerset-based Leyland DAF lorry which ended up on its side. The other vehicle involved in the accident was a red Ford Escort van driven by a 23-year-old Bere Alston man. It is understood he did not sustain serious injuries.
The collision happened at 12.46pm.
Two fire appliances from Tavistock attended and the Devon Air Ambulance was called out.
