FOOD suppliers in the region are being given the opportunity to showcase and sell their produce at Duchy College Stoke Climsland's annual Summer Food Festival in June.
The event, which will be held over the weekend of June 22 and 23, at the college's Stoke Climsland campus, is building on the success of last year which saw more than 6,000 visitors enjoy the fantastic food and activities on offer at the college, with more than 55 exhibitors from all over the south west.
The festival is based in and around a grand marquee set in the landscape of the East Cornwall countryside.
Places are already being snapped up at £130 for onsite consumption (bar area) stands and £40 for the main trade stand area for the whole weekend, so organisers recommend booking soon.
Those who want to book a space, or find out more about the event can do so by emailing [email protected]">[email protected] or call 01579 372233.
Head of Duchy College Andrew Counsell said: 'This is a fabulous opportunity for local and regional suppliers to show what they have to offer in the heart of the Cornish countryside.
'We have been running this event in its current form for the past two years and they have been a huge success with more than 3,500 visitors in 2011 and over 6,000 in 2012.
'This year we're aiming to make it even better and to do that we need the very best of regional food producers to attract locals and visitors alike.'
The festival will coincide with Duchy College's annual open days, giving visitors of all ages the chance to take part in a wealth of free activities, including tractor rides, archery, climbing, cheese making and digger driving to name just a few.
Those with a thirst for knowledge can find out about the many courses on offer for all ages, whether full or part-time.
