MORE than £125 was raised — and lots of hair was lost! — at a sponsored head shave in Princetown.

Coming under the clippers at the Plume of Feathers pub was Bob Lock, who was raising funds for the Help for Heroes charity.

The shave took place just before England kicked off the World Cup campaign against the USA.

Thanks were expressed to all who donated and to the Prince of Wales for hosting the event.
