Chris and Yvonne Burchell, and Vincent and Sheila Wilson from the Tavistock Group of Artists showed painting and sculptures alongside other artists from Finland and Germany in the Gothic Hall at Celle Castle last weekend.
Chris Burchell said it was a large exhibition spread through two buildings.
'Work ranged from earth sculpture on the floor of the gallery to large, dramatic acrylics,' he said.
'More conventional styles examined the problems of pollution and the future of humankind in the new millennium.'
This exhibition was the latest in a long series of exchanges between Tavistock and its German twin Celle, but was the first with Finland.
The next exhibition will be in July 2003 at the Wharf.
