IN the 13 years since they were formed, Britain's first Iron Maiden tribute band, Hi-on Maiden, have built up a wide reputation, having played to capacity audiences throughout Europe and the United States.
Later this month, this outstanding group will return to The Wharf, Tavistock for another superb live show.
It was in 1995 that three friends in a small band got together and started jamming Iron Maiden songs. Two years later, the group appeared live on the television show, The Sham Rock Quiz. Another big break came when Iron Maiden themselves asked the band to perform at their official convention in 2000.
Hit tours of the UK and Europe followed and the group has also played in support slots for Blaze Bayley, as well as headlining a music festival in Belgium.
