AFTER the success of the 'Summer Solstice', the second 'Winter Solstice' music and beer festival is being held at Tavistock Rugby Club on Saturday, December 20.

Held in the club's function room, the event is a must for all live music and ale lovers.

The evening starts at 6pm with live music from five local bands and acoustic artists, including Adam Issac, the Gruff Nuts, Rory Gilmore, Invisible Kid and Daniel Kemish, all of whom regularly perform within the Tavistock area.

There will also be a good selection of real ales and local ciders, from Skinners, Sharps, Dartmouth Brewery, St Austell Ales and Countryman Cider, all at £2 per pint. In addition to the bar facilities food will be available, served by Dukes.

Throughout the day there will be opportunities for people to donate money for the Help for Heroes campaign.

Tickets will cost £5 in advance or admission is £7 on the day. Tickets are now available from Dukes in the Pannier Market, or turn up on the day on a first come first served basis. For more information email [email protected]">[email protected]
