ORGANISERS of activities can advertise summer events for children and young people free of charge.

The West Devon Play Directory is a free listings guide to be distributed again this year to every school child in West Devon and the deadline for submissions is May 4.

If dates are not known yet, contact details can be printed for parents to make contact nearer the time to find out more.

The directory will be distributed throughout schools, pre-schools and nurseries from early July. Copies will also be available for pick-up at libraries, village and community halls, doctor's surgeries, children's centres, leisure centres, community organisations, schools just outside of West Devon, civic reception areas and other public buildings.

The directory is being developed in partnership with the West Devon Play Forum and produced by Community Sport Limited.

Last summer it was packed with more than 30 different providers.
