PRESIDENT of the Lions Club of Tavistock Pat Macauley has presented cheques for £1,800 each to the local branches of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the Chestnut Appeal and Tavistock Triangle and Chemotherapy Outreach service, from money raised through last year's Trees of Light.

Pat thanked funeral director Simon Luke of Morris Bros Ltd for the sponsorship of costs involved, allowing all of the money raised to go to the charities.
