TAVISTOCK Lions Club has organised a Peace Poster Competition for West Devon primary schools with the theme on bullying. Eighteen schools throughout the West Devon area covered by the club have been invited to take part and design their own poster. It is aimed at children aged 8 to 11 years old — an age group the club feel would benefit most from the theme of the poster competition. A prize will be awarded to the winner and runner-up from each school, and then the winning entries will be judged and the overall winning school will be awarded a shield.
