A LIMITED edition print was last week presented to the Lions Club of Tavistock for its carnival draw.

Rik Hawkins from Tavistock Picture Framing Gallery handed the print entitled ‘Jackpot’ by Aaminah Snowdon, which features a red squirrel eyeing up a cupcake, to the club’s president Paul Blowey.

Second prize this year for the draw is a resin bronze sculpture by local artist Charlotte Marlow and the winner of the third prize will have the opportunity of piloting a Boeing 737 all be it in the safety of the Virtual Jet Centre’s flight simulator in Chudleigh.

Paul Blowey thanked Rik and all who donated prizes — including Tesco and the management at Taylor’s Restaurant for sponsoring the printing of the tickets.
