I, LIKE I'm sure many others, had no idea when I saw the signs on the A386 at Gem Cottage, Grenofen, that what they were actually intending was a 40mph speed limit, and permanent traffic lights just past a blind corner.

While I'm sure an accident is only just around the corner, (pardon the pun) my real concern is for the residents on the Horrabridge-Whitchurch road who will certainly get an increase of fast traffic from those wanting to skip the slower speed, and possible queues.
