JEREMY Browne, Liberal Democrat MP for Taunton, was guest speaker when West Devon and Torridge Liberal Democrats held a thank you dinner in honour of election candidate David Walter and campaign manager Michael Wilson. Mr Browne was successfully elected to parliament this May. Seventy-two members attended the dinner at the Clinton Hall, Merton on November 5. Also among the invited guests were Baroness Sue Miller, John and Billie Burnett, Sir Cyril and Lady Anita Townsend, Sally Morgan, Dr Judy Evans, Paul and Hillary Vogal and Devon County Councillors. Mrs Anne Carter organised the event, and the meal was made using locally grown produce, supplied by local firms.
