A LIMITED edition print by internationally renowned Plymouth artist Robert Lenkiewicz has been kindly given to a Hatherleigh church to sell to raise funds.
Hatherleigh Church of St John the Baptist has been given the print by the artist who died two years ago, to sell in its 50:50 shop which can be found at the Salar Gallery exhibitions rooms at Hatherleigh until March 27.
The print which has been given anonymously, is from the ?Painter with Women ? St Antony?s Theme? series and is known as ?Esther in purple spotted dress?. So come on all you Lenkiewicz fans, the church can only raise the money if a new owner can be found to buy it.
The temporary shop, which was set up to raise money for the parish church expenses, has a wide variety of items for sale, from books and clothing to tabletop items, a stunt bike and get-fit videos.
The 50:50 shop is open at the same times as the Gallery; Tuesday, 10am-5pm, Thursday and Friday, 10am-1pm, 2-5pm, Saturday, 10am-1pm and 2-4pm. Call the gallery on 01837 810940 for further details.
