MORE than 200 people from around West Devon are expected to gather at St Eustachius Church in Tavistock at 7pm on Tuesday, June 15 for a major event.
?Planting in Prayer? has been put together by a team from the Anglican Diocese of Exeter, which has already led several similar events in other parts of Devon.
Preb John Rawlings said that life was ?all about planting seeds?. ?Not only planting them, but watering and nurturing them. So it is with God and with our spiritual lives.?
The evening will be one of fun, encouragement, learning and growth, with the chance to share in two workshops from a choice of 12.
These will be on different aspects of prayer ? from praying with the whole family at home to praying in the context of the wider world and praying through poetry.
The evening will begin with worship and an address by the Bishop of Plymouth.
