CHILDREN from Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School had a visit from members of the Kelly College Robotics Club.

The children took part in a robotic workshop, and the three Kelly students talked to pupils about the basic principles of robotics. The children then had the opportunity to build their own robot.

The afternoon was organised by Mark Tailyour from Kelly College's science department.

Nicky Pratten, headteacher of Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School, said: 'The children had a great afternoon. They had lots of fun as well as an opportunity to learn more about how robots work.

'We were impressed with the students from Kelly College who showed a real knowledge and enthusiasm.'
