IF you would like to become a master of website design, a new course in Okehampton could lead the way. The ten-week course showing people how to create their own web pages is re-starting in the town on Monday, January 16. Tutor Peter Preston from Folly Gate said: ?One thing students like about my course is that they don?t need any expensive software or textbooks, or even any previous knowledge, all they need are basic keyboard skills. Mr Preston said he taught students step by step from scratch using simple coding techniques, and his own manual ?Easy Web Pages? could be downloaded at http://www.youaretheboss.co.uk/students">www.youaretheboss.co.uk/students or purchased from the tutor. He added: ?Everybody creates two coloured linked web pages within the first hour and after five or seven weeks a working website.? The course also takes students through the process of registering their website and getting it hosted.
