TAVISTOCK U15s cricketer Rhys Davies was presented with the 2010 Devon County Palladium League player of the year award at the annual Palladium League presentation evening held at Plymouth Argyle.
Rhys scored runs regularly for Tavistock in the Palladium league and also scored a large number of runs for the county's U15s, 16s and 17s sides as well as keeping wicket and taking many catches and stumpings.
Other Tavistock cricketers who received special mentions on the night were Henry Kisby for batting achievements and Nic Scaglioni and David Milligan who both achieved five wicket hauls.
Tavistock also picked up the U15s league runners-up trophy on the night. This current U15s side, most of whom will be stepping up to senior level cricket next season, have in the past five seasons won two league titles, a league cup, two Devon County cups and two league runners-up trophies — a superb achievement.
