STAFF at Tavistock Hospital have been finding new ways to improve fitness and promote Wellbeing at Work in their workplace.
They currently have two projects running, with the hospital weight loss challenge and the hospital's half marathon team.
The hospital weight loss challenge started in February and will continue until May 5. Every Monday morning staff are weighed and measured by the outpatient department nurses and the results recorded.
Staff have to pay the penalty of £1 per 1lb of weight gained. The collective weight loss off all the participants will be calculated at the end of the challenge.
The hospital's half marathon team has been training hard for the Plymouth Half Marathon. The Tavistock League of Friends have sponsored printed t-shirts and collection buckets.
All of the money raised will go back to them. Currently seven members of staff are taking the challenge as well as many other going down to support them.
