MEMBERS of Tavistock Camera Club are all kitted out for the 21st century thanks to an award from the National Lottery which has taken them into the digital age.
The club was awarded a grant of £4,650 from the Lottery?s Awards for All scheme, enabling members to purchase a digital projector and laptop computer.
The new equipment means members and visiting speakers will be able to present work straight from camera, disc, flash drive or media card.
Using the new equipment the club will run a course, starting on January 5 2005, entitled ?An Introduction to Digital and Film Photography? .
The course will be open to club members and non-members and will run for six alternate Wednesdays at the Alexander Centre in Plymouth Road.
