BERE Alston began the brighter with Luke Hann prominent in midfield and Ben Rushall dangerous down the left.
But it was Lamerton who got the first goal when Sean Cann shot past Nathan Montgomerie. This was quickly followed by a second from Paul Cowling after being put through by Cann.

Callington 1
Calstock 1
ON one of the worst evenings of the year with heavy rain and winds, Calstock, playing their final game of the season, made the short trip for this local derby.
Calstock won the toss and elected to play with the wind. There were few scoring chances until Nick Tilbury rocked the home side with a 20th minute goal.
The second half got under way with worsening conditions and failing light. A resurgent Calstock dug in, the whole team playing well and pushing forward.
The Calstock keeper made a good save at the bottom right post, but Callington drew level with a headed goal at the halfway point.
Calstock cleared their lines well in a game that turned scrappy.
Callington threw everything they had at the visitors, but the score remained 1-1.
