LAMERON restarted their league fixtures with a home game against Bugle and ran out comfortable winners.

They got off to the best possible start when Zak Beesley ran on to a Paul Cowling through-ball and scored after a minute. He doubled the advantage shortly afterwards before Cowling bagged the third.

When Beesley completed his hat-trick just before half-time, having also hit the woodwork twice, the game was wrapped up.

Early in the second half Tony Jones set man of the match Beesley up again for his fourth. Further goals came from a Steve Wickett volley, Cowling?s second from close range, a far post header from Simon Breyley and a Kev Swift screamer.

Despite the score

Bugle played some good football at times and were thwarted on several occasions by the agility of Pete Daniel in the Lamerton goal.
