AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday in glorious sunshine, more than a 100 people contested an individual Stableford for the Kennard Winter Cup.
Winner of division one was Michael Hern with 41 points, second was Malcolm Hooper with 40 and in third Vincent Floyd with 39.
The winner of the Kennard cup and division two was Rob Simpson with 43 points, second with 38 points was Robin Webb and James Morey was third with 37. Division three was won by Martin Jewell with 39 points, second Adrian Rice on 38 points on the back nine from Michael McDonald.
The ladies of Okehampton Golf Club arranged a Pink day, for the Breast Cancer charity. They played 'two clubs and a putter Stableford' all were dressed in pink. 22 ladies turned up to play and the organisers had worked hard to arrange various fun events. All in all the golf was fun but took second place to the hilarity of the day and a superb £276 was raised with some draw monies still to come.
Marcia Jones scoring a wonderful 31 points over 16 holes to convincingly win the competition. Second was a tie with Penny Deakin, Janet Hatch and Lorna McCurragh with 26. There were two twos from Marcia Jones and Linda Walker.
