FENITON tried to attack from the whistle but with strong defence work from Steph Morgan and Candy Capeling Feniton were struggling to break through.
Playing some of their best football this season, Tavistock kept on the attack.
Sam Payne took the ball up midfield passing to Atkinson, who put a cross in to Donna Hone; Hone took the ball round the Feniton defence and placed a hard shot into the back of the net.
Tavistock now had a lead and Feniton fought back, but excellent goalkeeping from Gemma Rossan kept the score 1-0 till half time.
Second half saw Natalie Bench join the attack for Tavistock. Feniton could not hold off the attack and Tavistock?s hard work paid off with a goal from Sam Payne, taking Tavistock 2-0 up.
Tavistock brought on Martine Sawyer to strengthen the midfield, but Feniton stepped up a gear and finally broke through to score their first.
Another substitution saw Rhianne Parsons come on. Tavistock, now with a stronger attacking team, kept breaking down Feniton defence. Kate Atkinson had a great run on the ball, hitting the back of the net.
Feniton kept battling and pulled another goal back. Tavistock, not fazed by this, kept the pressure on and held their lead to the final whistle.
