MANY young people cannot wait to leave education, but for one young man from North Tawton, school is exactly where he wants to be.

Kyle Matravers is celebrating after graduating from the University of Gloucestershire with a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in primary education.

As a child, Kyle attended North Tawton Primary School and later Okehampton College. After graduating in November, he was offered a key stage 1 teaching position at Yeo Moor Lane Primary School in Clevedon. During his course, Kyle specialised in physical education training, which will allow him to take after school sports clubs and activities.

During his teacher training course, Kyle spent a year volunteering at North Tawton Primary School.
