I AM writing to say a very big 'thank you' to the gentleman and lady who helped me when I fell in West Street, Tavistock, on the morning of Friday, January 4. 

They kindly assisted me into the Sue Ryder shop, and the manageress, Mel, kindly allowed me to rest in their staff area and also gave me a welcome cup of tea, and organised a taxi for me.  

I am feeling a good deal better, and would like to once again say thank you to all concerned. I have already spoken to Mel and thanked her.
