I WOULD, if I may, through your columns, like to thank all the staff of the Fox and Hounds at Bridestowe for a lovely surprise party they gave me and many friends on Wednesday July 19. They even collected me from home in Tavistock and took me back! For countless years Sunday lunches at the Fox and Hounds have provided a focus for locals to get together and many lasting friendships have been forged. This special party was for those who like me through circumstance are housebound these days, and thus no longer able to attend regularly.
