THE last 1,000 years of Hatherleigh's past will be looked at by the town's history society in its next meeting on Monday February 13.

The Rev John Leach will look at how the last millennium and its key events shaped and built the town.

The meeting takes place in Old Schools at 7.30pm. All are welcome, with admission costing £2 for visitors. The group will hold its annual dinner on March 7.
