ON August 17 Tavistock Ladies played their monthly stableford competition. The winners were: Division 1, first Kerry Gawman with 36 points; Division 2 first Dawn Gawman, 36 points and Division 3 first Joan Newland, 35 points.
On August 20 they played the Foursomes Cup. The results were: first Maggie Hillman and Barbara Ham with a net score of 76.5; second Wendy Wroe and Sue Gawman with a net 77. There was one Two scored by Ann Russell and Jenny Bryant on the fourth hole.
The Truscott Pitman Trophy was played on August 24. Results were: first Marjorie Greening and Lyn Swift with a net 73, second Sybil Cole and Judith Morley with a net 76.
