Kelly College U14 XV 33

West Buckland School U14 XV 0

AFTER almost two months of unbeaten play, the pressure is on Kelly. As a result, the players started nervously with both teams making basic errors but most of the play being in the West Buckland half.

After 20 minutes, Kelly made the first breakthrough, Alex Dinner scoring to ease some of the nerves and Guy Jedwab making the conversion.

Unforced errors continued, but just before half-time Kelly scored again after Sam Twaites stole West Buckland lineout ball and crashed over. The second half started brightly for Kelly with backs and forwards passing and recycling the ball well. At one stage, the team ran the ball from their own try-line to the West Buckland line through 15 phases of play.

Nathan Probert produced a man of the match performance with excellent straight running and when needed turning defence into attack with equally impressive

tackling.

The whole team supported him with other noticeable performances coming from Lorne Bell, Doug Willats and Sam Twaites. The try-scorers in the second half were Sam Twaites with his second, Lorne Bell and Doug Willats. Guy Jedwab added four conversions.

The result leads to an impressive unbeaten ten victories out of ten.
