Students from Kelly College triumphed at the National Biathlon Championships held in Sheffield recently.

Robert Pratt and Heather Fell both became the new national champions in the swimming and running discipline with the boys' team also finishing second overall.

The boys and girls' teams also took the regional championships title and the girls were also overall winners in their age group.

The athletes with Robert and Heather were Peter Freedman, Matthew Slator, Shaun Hewitt, Sarah Varcoe, Jamie-Leigh Southon, Lauren and Kimberly Foster and Louise Amery.
