Kelly College 2nd XI 7 Edgehill College 2 WITH good positional play from Katie Elliott and Beth Newton it was extremely hard for the opposition to gain possession of the ball. Chelsea Maydon had another good game upfront and with Charlotte Hofmann and Franziska Schmid-Burgk playing in the middle, the switching of the ball was exceptional. Kelly College 2nd XI 2 West Buckland 2nd XI 1 THIS match was a closely contested game with lots of even ball possession between the two teams. Charlotte Hofmann had an outstanding game in the midfield and with Beth Newton playing the sweeper position, Kelly were strong in all areas. An early goal from Schmid-Burgk allowed Kelly to increase their confidence. Some good tackles were made from all the players with Lottie Ellicott holding up play in the defensive area. Zara Beach performed well in goal and with Fiona Thomas and Hannah Batten linking well on the right it was not long before Kelly scored again. The goal came from a cross into the ?D? allowing Lizzey Tilley to score. West Buckland played a much better second-half but could not get the equaliser.
