STUDENTS and staff at Kelly College celebrated another great year of GCSE results with 97% A*-C passes. Every student achieved at least five at grade A* to C passes, Louisa Butcher achieving ten A* grades and Jonny Goff-White nine A*s and two As.

Other top results included Molly Redford with eight A* and one A grade; Alexander Boswell, four A* and six A grades; Jack Routly, five A*, four A and two B grades; Emma Paull , five A*, four A and one B grade; Leon Cording, seven A*, one A, one B and one C grade; Matthew Earp, six A*, two A, one B, and one C grade, and Peter Miller, six A*, two A, one B and one C grade.

Headmaster Dr Graham Hawley said: 'These are very pleasing results. The grades overall are an improvement from last year and reflect the hard work of pupils and teachers. 

'I pay a great tribute to all the Kelleians, their gifted and committed teachers and, importantly, to the parents who work in close partnership with the school to ensure our children realise their potential. This is an excellent year of results, as our pupils have achieved an increase in performance, both at A Level and GCSE, bucking the national downward trends.'
