AFTER winning the toss, Kelly hockey players had the first push back. But sharpness in front of goal was lacking, and, as a result, the advantage was not pressed home.

Further good play from Olivia Eadie, Philippa Murphy and Keira Wreyford meant that a lot of chances were created but still the team did not manage to score.

Other players making useful contributions included Gabriella Murphy, Courtney Coulter, Hannah-Brooke Williams and Anastasia Steed.

Early in the second half, a defensive lapse allowed the opposition in for a ?soft? goal. This led to an impressive fight back from the Kelly team, with Katie Elliott and Kate Eadie, in particular, leading the way. As a result, Kate Eadie was able to score three goals ? one from a short corner and two from open play.
