PLAYING up the slope and against the wind Okehampton Argyle found the Braunton defence hard to break down.
Midway through the first half Argyle gave away a penalty but keeper Robert Cockwill made an excellent save.
Okehampton's midfield took control and provided several opportunities for Argyle's two strikers to score.
The second half saw Okehampton keep up the pressure on Braunton's defence but they could not score.
Braunton caught Okehampton on the break and Okehampton's keeper had to make another fine save. His long clearance saw Sam Appleby beat the offside trap and score two minutes from full time. Okehampton held on for a well deserved win.

Honiton U11s 4 (aet)
OKEHAMPTON started the better with Paul Gent having a shot on goal which went just outside the post. The Honiton keeper made some excellent saves to keep his side in the match.
Honiton's first goal came after Okehampton keeper Will Ingram pushed the ball away but the defence were slow to collect it and allowed Honiton to score.
Just before half-time Bradley Ausden equalised.
Okehampton continued to play well, but scramble in the home penalty area led to Honiton's second goal.
Okehampton continued to put Honiton's defence under pressure. Harry Smith scored a goal for Okehampton which went low along the ground and took forever to roll into the back of the net.
Honiton had more chances and missed an open goal but were rewarded for their effort with the third. Ausden scored Okehamptons's equaliser with a fantastic chip from the edge of the 18-yard box.
Both teams battled hard but at the final whistle the scores were level and extra time was needed. With ten minutes each way Okehampton fought hard but an excellent goal from Honiton decided the match.
