THE Buckland side that turned out were probably the best to visit Tawton all season.
The game was played at a good pace.
Tony Fisher deputised in goal, and was tested early on.
Great play down the centre of the park by Ashley Arscott allowed Richard Keast to slot a well placed shot into the Buckland goal after 15 minutes.
With Tawton struggling to contain the left winger his cross was met by the Buckland centre forward who powered his header into the roof of the net five minutes before the break.
Keith Steward had a great chance to put Tawton in front right on half-time but his effort went wide of the goal.
The second half was a matter of riding the storm as Buckland moved up a couple of gears. Again the left winger and the centre forward connected to allow Buckland to move into the lead. Fisher was kept busy.
Edward Hillier at centre half for Tawton was having a good game, but could not stop the mounting pressure.
Buckland scored two more quick goals to make it 1-4 and the pressure was slightly eased by the appearance of Stuart Bragg for Tawton who kept the Buckland defence on their toes.

THIS result confirmed to Tawton that a finish of either fifth or sixth was certain. Not a bad season overall and with the second team winning their league, a good year for North Tawton Football Club in general.
Tawton were certainly frustrated on the pitch and it boiled over with the red card dismissal of Eddie Hillier.
With Tawton?s lately consistent penalty taker now watching from the sidelines, Darren Nicholls was left with the challenge of converting one of Tawton?s chances. Another penalty, another penalty miss; his effort hit the post and went wide.
