STUDENTS at Callington Community College have achieved outstanding results in their GCSE examinations. A total of 77% of students achieved A* to C grades in mathematics and more than 70% of all students achieved five or more A* to C grades. And 99% of students achieved one or more A* to C grades and 56% of students achieved five A* to C grades including English and mathematics. Congratulations go to top performing student Jenna Buxton who achieved eleven A* grades and two A grades; Tess Masselink who achieved ten A* grades, two A grades and a B; Yve Taylor who gained ten A* grades and two A grades; Jess Hawkin who achieved eight A* grades and three B grades; Pippa Luckhurst who achieved seven A* grades, three A grades and a B; Rebecca Mayo who achieved six A*, three A and four B grades; Charlotte Watts who gained six A* grades, three A grades, three B grades and one C; and Sam Allen who achieved three A* grades and eight A grades. College principal Sean Morris said: 'I am absolutely delighted by the achievements of all our young people — I am very proud of them all.
