A WEST DEVON children's charity has announced it is giving everyone a chance to enter a challenging cycling event. Country Holidays for Inner City Kids (CHICKS) based at Brentor is calling all cyclists to take part in a cycle challenge in the Scottish Highlands. The Artemis Highland 100 will be taking place in Scotland on Saturday, July 28, starting at Kenmore and will offer three routes; 64km, 83km and 110km through some of the most historical regions of the highlands. The event will finish at Killin with a celebrity evening including massage, a sumptuous feast and entertainment including a 'Mini Greek Olympic Games' for participants and their families to enjoy. Minimum sponsorship for the event is £400 per person. All funds raised will be allocated to four chosen charities – CHICKS, The Edinburgh Cyrenians, Rainer and Tusk. CHICKS provides free respite breaks to disadvantaged children from across the UK.
