LAST mouth saw 11 jujitsu students from the Launceston club go all out in front of a grading panel headed by senseis Umberto Bergonzini and Robert Curtis from Tavistock and assistant instructors Mell Green and Angela Bowden.

For Thomas Mead, Gaynor May, Nick Coleing, Danny Bright and Josh Hall it was the first time and although nervous they performed extremely well, passing and achieving the next level, eight kyu — a yellow belt.

Patrick Semple, Matthew Semple, Daniel Miller, Celine Nadin and Callum Foy were promoted to seventh Kyu orange belt.

Kevin Semple was promoted to sixth kyu green belt one tab.

The grading panel was extremely pleased by the performance and character demonstrated by everyone, beginners as well as more experienced students.

The clubs meet in Launceston on Mondays and in Tavistock on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Anyone interested in joining can contact Umberto on 07866 720361 or come to one of the classes.
