HUNDREDS of Santas will descend on Callington this weekend for the CHICKS Santa Sprint — and it's not too late to sign up if you haven't already.

Runners dressed in Santa outfits will take to the streets on Saturday for a festive run of approximately one mile around Callington Town Centre, including a team of over 30 runners from the Stoke Climsland Scouts and Pirate FM morning presenter Neil Caddy, who will be officially starting the race.

Santas will set off at 3.30pm, finishing in time for the arrival of the 'real' Father Christmas and the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town square.

Entry is £10 for adults, £5 for children or £25 for a family of four and includes a Santa suit and a medal.

All proceeds will go to West Devon-based charity CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) which provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children.

Runners are also able to sign up on the day from 2.30pm at Callington Cricket Club.
