PEOPLE?can take part in a farmer-led walk at Middle Merripit Farm, Postbridge, on Thursday, August 7 from 2pm to 4pm. A strenuous ramble over a traditional moorland farm with farmer Ken Watson, will be followed by a demonstration of working dog skills with Ken's brother, Jed Watson. This is an enjoyable glimpse into the unique skills required to farm on Dartmoor. Due to the presence of livestock, visitors are asked to not bring dogs. The walk is supported by the Dartmoor Hill Farm Project. The cost is £5 per person per walk. Booking is essential and places are limited.
