RESIDENTS and visitors of Okehampton can take part in the Southwest's massive interactive community carol singalong when it comes to the town this Christmas.

Sing Christmas, which is organised by Churches Together with BBC Southwest, will be broadcast live with BBC Radio Devon.

The event in Okehampton is being put together by Okehampton Christians Together.

There will be live music and lots of well know carols to sing along to, as well as snapshot interviews from people who will help highlight the meaning of Christmas.

The event will take place on Tuesday, December 22 from 8pm at The Kings Arms and will be broadcast live from BBC Radio Devon from 7pm.
