Stonehouse Sharks U12s 7 Okehampton U12s 38 OKEHAMPTON continued their excellent start to the season with a convincing away win. Matt Johns opened the scoring. Chasing his own kick he put the Sharks defenders under pressure and forced his way over the line. The Sharks scored an equalising try and took the lead with the conversion but this was quickly cancelled out by another try for Johns. Okehampton led 10-7 at half-time but the second half was one-way traffic as the more experienced visitors team ran the Sharks ragged with four more tries. Straight and strong running from Oli Kirby resulted in the first try. Excellent kick chasing from Will Cooper enable his brother Henry to get the next. A strong run from Chris Courtier for the third was followed by Johns getting his hat-trick with a run from his own line. Johns made all four conversions in the second half.
