The annual Hayne Dog Jamboree promises to be a real canine treat for dog lovers throughout West Devon. Now in its third year, the event will be held on September 23 at its usual venue in the grounds of Hayne Old Manor, Moretonhampstead. Held in aid of charity, the event runs from 11am to 5pm with gates opening at 10am. The ?guest celebrity?will be Newfoundland dog Bilbo, the first dog to be awarded a lifeguard?s certificate. Bilbo, from Sennen Cove in Cornwall, will be giving a demonstration of his lifesaving skills in the lake. The jamboree promises a great family day out for dog enthusiasts and families.
