Hammond, Moody and Turner came close but saves from the Lipson keeper kept them out. It took a long-range effort from Rose to put Tavistock in the lead. In the second half, passing was better as the girls adjusted to the small pitch. Released from goal, Gordon quickly got on the scoresheet on a one to one with the keeper. Shaw and Glasspoole teamed up well and Saunders slotted in well when Glasspoole came off feeling ill. Gordon tapped another one in and to everyone?s delight Jade Eyles, back from an operation, finished off a superb passing attack that went from Moody to Turner to Moody to Eyles who slammed it into the net.
